About the role
Data Scientist - iwocaPay Credit Risk Modelling Hybrid in London, United Kingdom (one day per week in office requirement) We're looking for a Data Scientist to join the iwocaPay Risk Squad. You'll own credit models that decide who iwocaPay can safely fund, on what terms, and how far the product can grow.
You'll help shape how risk modelling develops. The company Small businesses move fast. Opportunities often don't wait, and cash flow pressures can appear overnight. The team The Risk Squad owns credit risk and fraud for iwocaPay, iwoca's Buy Now Pay Later product for businesses. The aim is to lend to every business likely to repay, and to spot the ones that aren't. The squad works across three areas: • Lending decisions. Building and improving the automated credit model. • The portfolio.
